Kirill Rozhdestvensky graduated from the Leningrad Shipbuilding Institute (now SPbSMTU) with a specialization in Hydroaerodynamics.
Since completing his degree, he has devoted his career to scientific research and teaching at SPbSMTU–LSI, steadily progressing through the academic hierarchy—from Assistant at the Department of Hydromechanics to Director of the Department of International Cooperation.
1969 – Successfully defended his Candidate of Technical Sciences (PhD) dissertation in Hydromechanics
1972 – Defended his Doctor of Technical Sciences dissertation in Ship Theory
1982 – Awarded the academic title of Professor in Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling
1984–2015 – Head of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling
1982–1999 – Dean of the Faculty of Shipbuilding and Ocean Engineering
1999–2015 – Vice-Rector for International Cooperation in Science and Education
Since 2015 – Director of the Department of International Cooperation
A highly respected scholar and prolific author of monographs, textbooks, and scientific articles, Professor Rozhdestvensky has actively participated in numerous scientific and dissertation councils:
