General information
The academic year at SMTU starts in September and ends in June (01.09-30.06).
The University grading system is based on a 5-point scale, which is traditional for Russian educational system.
All faculties provide full-time studies for BS and MS programs. Post-graduate studies can be full-time or part-time. The list of educational programs offered for international students you can find at link
All programs at the St. Petersburg Marine Technical University are taught in Russian.
International students can be enrolled to the Marine Technical University under different schemes:
- Receiving a compatriot status (verification of the compatriot status is necessary; same rules as on the general base would be applied);
- Contract-based studies.
