About Me
Education
Graduated from the S.O. Makarov Pacific Higher Naval School, majoring in Radio Engineering Armament of Submarines.
Military Service (1979–1996)
Following graduation, Andrey Prokopenko served in the Soviet and Russian Navy aboard nuclear-powered submarines. He held senior command positions and was entrusted with key responsibilities in the submarine fleet.
Civilian Career (1997–2016)
After retiring from active military service, he held executive roles in major Russian companies, including:

Ust-Luga Oil (JSC)
In these roles, he was responsible for economic and transport security operations.
Current Position (Since November 2016)
Serving as Vice-Rector for Security of the Educational Process at Saint Petersburg State Marine Technical University.
