About Me
Graduated with honors from St. Petersburg State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (ITMO) in 2006.
Defended a Ph.D. dissertation in 2012 on the topic “Methods and Algorithms for Automating the Design of a Multimedia Educational Environment for Universities” in the field of Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
Has been serving as Head of the Information Technology Department at St. Petersburg State Marine Technical University (SPbGMTU) since 2016.
Awarded the medal “For Contribution to the Implementation of State Policy in the Field of Education.”
Received official commendations from the Committee on Science and Higher Education of the Government of St. Petersburg in 2018 and 2020.
Awarded the Security Council of the Russian Federation medal “For Merit in Strengthening Information Security.”
Received an official commendation from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia in 2023 for contributions to the development of educational activities and youth policy.
Research interests include: information technology, automation, the Internet of Things, management, business planning, automation, and project management. Over 100 students of all educational levels have defended their theses under his supervision.
Author and co-author of more than 30 publications, including: 1 monograph, 7 scientific articles from the Russian Higher Attestation Commission (VAK) list, 5 textbooks and teaching aids, 12 copyright certificates, 4 articles indexed in the Scopus international citation system, and an h-index of 3.
