SMTU participated in a meeting of the Russian-Indian on Science and Technology Working Group (11 января)
Kirill Rozhdestvensky, director of the International Cooperation Department (SMTU) made a presentation about the university. He told about educational programs, prepared jointly with Indian universities and the accumulated experience of holding collaborative scientific and practical conferences and expressed interest in scientific cooperation with Indian partners, including virtual laboratories through World-Class Scientific Centers (WCSC).
Alexander Tolparov, director of the International Cooperation Department of Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, invited Indian colleagues to participate in the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia (2022-2031).
Sergey Konovalov, leading specialist of the Programs and Projects Department of Russian Academy of Sciences, said that for the last 6 years, 63 Russian-Indian projects worth over 1.6 billion rubles have been implemented, and more than a thousand scientific articles have been published in authoritative editions.
Indian colleagues invited the university to join Russia-India Council for Scientific and Industrial Research project of creating a Technology Center for scientific activity development in the context of «Industry 4.0» - polar studies, research of new materials and renewable energy.
