SMTU hosted a meeting with Indian Navy representatives

At the meeting the Russian side was represented by Kirill Rozhdestvensky, Director of International Relations Department; Vladimir Grigoriev-Golubev, Prof.; Lilia Tomaychuk, Head of International Projects Office; Maria Pak, Head of International Science and Education Office, Dmitry Kulakov, Head of International liaison Office; Oleg Timofeev, Dean of Shipbuilding and Ocean Engineering Faculty;  Vladimir Tryaskin, Head of Ship Construction and Technical Operation Department; Maksim Vlasiev, Assistant Prof. of the Hydroaeromechanics and Marine Acoustics Department Nikita Tryaskin, Head of the Ship Theory Department; Victoria Semenova, Head of the Hydroaeromechanics and Marine Acoustics Department; Alexey Yakovlev, Prof., Kirill Plotnikov, Senior Lecturer of the Ship Design and Technical Operation Department; Vladimir Korshunov, Assistant Prof. of the Ship Structure Mechanics Department.

SMTU has developed and sent to Indian colleagues a draft agreement on cooperation in training students for the bachelor's degree program «Shipbuilding, Ocean Engineering and System Engineering of Marine Infrastructure Facilities»

The programme is scheduled to start in May 2023 at the Cochin University of Science and Technology; it will continue in 2 years at St. Petersburg State Marine Technical University. In addition, a Roadmap for implementating of master's and additional professional educational programmes was discussed at the meeting.
