SMTU becomes a certified partner of Huawei ICT Academy

Now our university is among these educational institutions. According to Kirill  Rozhdestvensky, Director of the International Cooperation Department, an agreement with Huawei is also being prepared for signing in other areas of cooperation.

The Academy program includes teacher training for Huawei authorized courses and opens for all participants the possibility to pass international or local certifications in a number of relevant ICT directions. Our teachers of the Department of Digital Industrial Technologies will be the first to pass the training course at the end of January.

As Alexey Lipis, acting Dean of the Faculty, notes, this project is focused primarily on students and includes, at the initial stage of partnership with ICT Academy, four areas for implementation of Huawei certification courses in the educational process: Artificial Intelligence, Network Security, Routing and Switching, Wireless Networks (WLAN).
